ACCCI
Zones in China:

China is officially divided into three regions:  eastern (or coastal), central and western.  We find it more convenient, however, to define seven zones:

Beijing Zone, including Hebei Province and Tianjin Municipality (blue)

Northeast China, consisting of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongiang and the eastern portion of Inner Mongolia (light green).

East China, consisting Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang and Shanghai Municipality (dark purple).

South China, consisting of Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangxi, Guangdong, “Chinese Taipei” and Hainan (light purple).

Central China, consisting of Shanxi, Hubei, Henan and Hunan (yellow).

Northwest China, consisting of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia (western portion), Qinghai, Ningxia, Gansu and Shaanxi (red).

Southwest China, consisting of Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Chongqing Municipality (dark green).
